Required texts
Students must apply academic integrity in their learning and research activities at UC. This includes submitting authentic and original work for assessments and properly acknowledging any sources used.
Academic integrity involves the ethical, honest and responsible use, creation and sharing of information. It is critical to the quality of higher education. Our academic integrity values are honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility and courage.
UC students have to complete the annually to learn about academic integrity and to understand the consequences of academic integrity breaches (or academic misconduct).

Participation requirements
Students are required to participate in all face-to-face and/or online activities of this unit when applicable. Participation in class and workshop activities directly contribute to the preparation and completion of assignments.
Required IT skills
Students are expected to have basic computer literacy and to be able to access online resources, including Canvas site and univeristy library. This unit will also involve literacy and use of data and literature management and analysis tools such as Excel and Endnote.
