Creating high quality audio and video journalistic content is in increasing demand for communication professionals and cross-media journalists. This unit combines practice, audio and video production and theory to create credible and compelling digital journalism content. You will work in teams and individually to produce audio and video stories as podcasts and for online sharing, as well as traditional broadcasting from the radio and tv studios. You will also focus on your presentation and voice skills to promote confidence as professional communicators. In addition to technical and practical skills you will critique the content and aesthetics of video and audio journalism and analyse it in the context of contemporary journalism.
